Hopewell Valley Emergency Services firefighters Rob Bailey and Matt Peck received the 2016 Mercer County 200 Club Award of Valor on June 8.
The two responded to a March 10 house fire in Hopewell Borough and, while searching the burning building, located an unconscious victim on the second floor. They were able to rescue the victim, who was seriously injured.
Due to their quick action, the victim has made a complete recovery.
