HOPEWELLS: Titusville man charged with possession of marijuana

Mohammad A. Jaferi of Todd Ridge Road, Titusville, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on June 16.
At 8:20 p.m. police said Officer Robert Voorhees was dispatched to check on a suspicious vehicle on Brookside Avenue. He located Mr. Jaferi, 18, nearby with marijuana and drug paraphernalia (a grinder), police said. He was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters and later released. 

A Bayonne man faces charges of possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop in Hopewell Borough on June 4.
At 3:35 p.m. Officer James Klesney stopped a 2015 Honda on Broad Street for having tinted front windows. While speaking with the driver, who was identified as Lester Allen E. Romero, 25, of Bayonne, the officer said he smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Police said a search found marijuana and drug paraphernalia (a pipe).
Mr. Romero was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters, from where he was released after being cited for the drug possession charges as well as having tinted car windows.

On June 4 at 1:06 a.m. Officer Kevin Koveloski stopped a 1997 Ford on Route 31 near Route 518 for speeding an alleged 62 in a 45 mph zone.
While speaking with the driver, who was identified as Shaun L. Tilton of Neptune, warrants for his arrest from Wall Township, Bradley Beach, Ocean Gate and Sea Girt Borough were located. Mr. Tilton was arrested and turned over to Wall Township Police after being cited for speeding and driving while his credential were suspended.

