PRINCETON: Library renovation ready to begin next phase

Renovation continues at the library.

Workers will start Wednesday sealing off the second floor of the Princeton Public Library, as the renovation of the floor begins its next phase.
Overall, library officials have said the renovation would take six to eight months to transform the floor into a modern study and work space.
In the meantime, computers, tables and parts of the collection were relocated to the first floor a few weeks ago. The library intends to remain open during the project, although library director Brett Bonfield said Thursday that he is “almost certain” it will have to close for one day, on a still undetermined date.
Patrons will be able to go from the first floor to the third floor when work is taking place.
