POLICE BLOTTER for the week of 7/8/16

The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, June 29, 2016. 
Benjamin C. Adams-Barnes, 25, of Trenton, was charged with possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at 12:22 p.m. June 23 at Twin Rivers Drive North.
An officer responded to Twin Rivers Drive North to check on the welfare of a resident who had possibly been involved in a motor vehicle accident. Further investigation revealed that an unrelated individual was in possession of drug paraphernalia and had active warrants for his arrest. Mr. Adams-Barnes was arrested and later released on his own recognizance. 
Esperanza Flores, 58, of Lakehurst, N.J., was charged with DUI, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and for having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, careless driving, posted no parking, having an unclear license plate and obstructed view after an incident at 4:21 a.m. on June 26 on Route 33.
An officer located a vehicle parked along the shoulder of Route 33 with the driver asleep behind the wheel. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Ms. Flores was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. She was later released pending court action. 
Nicholas J. Aronoff, 20, of Staten Island, N.J., was charged with assault by auto, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle, DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, improper passing and failure to keep right after an incident at 7:05 p.m. June 26 on Etra Road.
Officers responded to Etra Road near Feldsher Road for a three-car motor vehicle accident. Two individuals sustained minor injuries and both declined to be transported to a hospital. While speaking to the at-fault driver, the officer detected an odor of alcohol on his breath. Mr. Aronoff was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was later released pending court action. 
The Hightstown Police Department initiated the following police reports through Tuesday, July 5, 2016. 
Carl W. Johnson Jr., 28, from Long Branch, was arrested June 27 by Long Branch Police on an active warrant out of Hightstown Municipal Court. Officers took custody of Mr. Johnson at headquarters, where he was processed and later transported to Mercer County Adult Correctional Facility to be lodged. 
Scott E. Dimuro, 36, from the 100 block of Outcalt Street, was arrested July 1 during a motor vehicle stop on Bank Street for DWI. Mr. Dimuro was transported to headquarters, processed and later released pending court. 
Tiffany K. Allison, 25, from Hamilton, was arrested July 1 during a motor vehicle stop for two active warrants out of Robbinsville and Cranford Municipal Courts. Ms. Allison was transported to headquarters, processed and later released after being ROR’ed from both courts. 
Corry F. Pringley, 34, from East Windsor, was arrested July 2 by East Windsor Police for an active warrant out of Hightstown Municipal Court. Officers took custody of Mr. Pringley, and transported headquarters. At headquarters, Mr. Pringley was processed and later released after posting bond for his bail. 
Shweta Jain, 24, from East Windsor, was arrested July 3 during a motor vehicle stop for DWI. Ms. Jain was transported to headquarters, processed and later released pending court. 
William E. Martinez, 22, from Roselle, was arrested July 3 by Roselle Police for an active warrant out of Hightstown Municipal Court. Officers ROR’ed Mr. Martinez after contacting the court and they provided them with a new court date of July 13 at 6 p.m. 
Rigoberto L. Mendez, 49, from the 200 block of Stockton Street, was arrested July 4 for an active warrant out of East Windsor Municipal Court. Mr. Mendez was transported to headquarters, processed and later released after being ROR’ed from East Windsor Police. 
