CARTERET – Mayor Dan Reiman has announced the 2016 Charity Trust Fund Golf Outing will be held on Thursday, Sept. 8, at Tamarack Golf Course in East Brunswick. Registration will begin at 9 p.m. for a full day of golfing. An awards luncheon will follow at 4 p.m. at Chris Michael’s Steakhouse in Woodbridge.

The Mayor’s Charity Trust Fund is an I.R.S. registered 501(c)3 and New Jersey state registered charity created in 2003. The Charity Trust Fund raises money through various events throughout the year including the Mayor’s Charity Ball, Annual Circus, Carnival and Charity Trap shoot. The moneys raised by the Fund are used for various initiatives in Carteret including scholarships, youth athletic events, arts programs, cultural events and the Holiday Festival.

“This is a great event which raises money for the Trust Fund’s community initiatives and programs,” said Mayor Reiman.
