Robbie Andrews, the former All-America runner from Manalapan High School, qualified for the Olympics in the 1,500-meter run.

Andrews finished second in the 1,500 meters on July 10 at the U.S. Track and Field Trials that were being run at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Ore. He nailed down the berth to the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a time of 3:34.88.
