Event to feature Seeger songs, stories

Entertainer Spook Handy will present a musical program titled “Remembering Pete Seeger” 2 p.m. July 23 at the Monroe Township Library, 4 Municipal Plaza.

Handy, who performed alongside Seeger at festivals and concerts more than 50 times 2003-2013, is on a three-year world tour to bring Seeger’s songs and the stories behind them to all 50 U.S. states, all 21 New Jersey counties, all 10 Canadian provinces and many other countries. Guests will be invited to sing along with Seeger’s songs.
