The YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge and South Amboy (MEWSA) announced Rose Cushing will remain as president and CEO, effective June 22.
Cushing had been interim CEO of the nonprofit since Dec. 19, 2015.
Before December, Cushing served as district executive director of childcare of the YMCA of MEWSA, where she directed the day-to-day operations of 15 early education and school-age child-care programs serving more than 900 children on a daily basis.
