Mets tickets will go to blood donors

A community blood drive is set for 1:30-7:30 p.m. Aug.18 at the Public Works and Utilities Building, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

Donors will receive two free tickets to see the New York Mets play; there will be a variety of games from which to choose.

Identification and proof of age required. Donors, who should eat a well-balanced meal before giving blood, must be at least 18 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds; individuals ages 16 or 17 may donate with a parental consent form.
