The Provident Bank has named Jim Portela of Monmouth Beach, Senior Vice President and Director of Loan Administration. In his new position, Mr. Portela is responsible for managing loan closing, administration, reporting and additional operations.
Mr. Portela received his MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University. Prior to the Provident Bank, he was a business teacher and athletic site coordinator at Red Bank Catholic High School.

Mr. Portela will be based in Provident Bank’s Metropark offices located at 100 S. Wood Ave., Iselin.
