Virginia Puglin Stults

Virginia Puglin Stults passed on July, 3 2016, born
Virginia Errickson Puglin on Decemcer 26, 1926 to
Clarence S. Puglin and Susan E. Puglin in Hightstown,
New Jersey.
Virginia had been a longtime resident of Hightstown and
then Whiting, New Jersey. It is with deep sadness that we
mourn her passing. Her greatest desire for the past two
years has been to go home to “her sweet Jesus”. Knowing
that she is now with Him is a sweet sadness for those who
knew and loved Virginia. There is joy in the knowledge of
her transfiguration mixed with sadness for her physical
absence.
Virginia will be remembered by many as the young girl
who sang in the choir at the First Presbyterian Church in
Hightstown. She loved music! She played her Steinway
and composed some beautiful pieces, which she
continued to play until her last year.
Her neighbors have memories of hearing Virginia’s
beautiful voice and piano playing, both when in
Hightstown as a child and Whiting in her later years.
Virginia was a few months shy of ninety when she passed,
so those who had the privilege of singing, laughing and
working alongside her feel blessed to have had so many
years with her. Now when the Sounds of Heaven are
heard, Virginia’s voice will be part of that beauty.
Virginia is survived by four children, Cathy Cliver
(Michael), Debbie Stults, Barby Crear (Jim) and Charles
“Cappy” Stults (Chris), five grandchildren, Tina Horner,
Lisa Chappell, Charles “Lee” Stults, Abi Rivenburgh,
Amanda Kennedy and ten great grandchildren.
Virginia was a graduate of Hightstown High School and
attended Penn Hall Jr. College for one year and left to
marry her fiance’, Charlie, when he returned from Europe
after WWII. She spent many years as a home care giver
and also worked for a short time for Mastoris
Chiropractic Clinic.
Services will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the
First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown, 320 North Main
Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Guests will be welcome to
meet with the family prior to the service at the church
from 10am. A memorial service will follow immediately
afterward at 11am. Memorial gifts may be made to the
First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown or the
Hightstown/East Windsor Historical Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Barlow &
Zimmer Funeral Home, Hightstown.
