History of the Catskills and comedians on July 26

The Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County (JCCMC) will serve as the host to Mort Segal, who will present, “The Rise and Fall of the Catskills and the Comedians Who Made Them Famous,” at 10:30 a.m., July 26, at 1775 Oak Tree Rd., Edison.

The Catskills region has many large resorts where stand-up comedians perform. The area is also a haven for artists, musicians and writers as well.
