The Metuchen Public Library will host a Summer Art Festival on July 30 from 1-4 p.m. The festival, sponsored by the Friends of the Metuchen Library, is a fundraiser for the Library Art Gallery, which is located on the upper level of the library. There will be face painting, balloon animals and various games and crafts available.
The Library Art Gallery features shows from various artists. The theme this month is About Faces, and will be running through the end of August. Local residents are invited to stop by and join in all the fun and to see some of the great works currently on display.
