Registration is now open for The New Jersey Victim Assistance Academy (NJVAA), a 40-hour academically based training for crime victim service providers, advocates, allied professionals, and others who work with crime victims. The sessions will take place every Thursday for eight weeks, on the following dates: Sept. 8, 15, 22, 29, Oct. 6, 13, 20, and 27. Each session begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.
The Academy will take place at the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Training Center, 11 Patrol Rd., Edison. There is no cost to attend this year’s Academy. To register, please complete an application. Applications are due by Aug. 1, 2016.
