CRANBURY: HomeFront’s ArtSpace exhibit scheduled in August at Gourgaud Gallery

Celebration: A Creative Collective and HomeFront ArtSpace” art exhibition will be featured in August at the Gourgaud Gallery in Cranbury.
The exhibit will feature members of the Creative Collective and showcase the artists of HomeFront’s ArtSpace. The exhibit celebrates the work of local artists and highlights the artists of ArtSpace, which aims to build self-confidence through therapeutic art.
ArtSpace is a HomeFront program housed in Homefront’s Family Campus, a center for homeless families in Ewing, N.J. HomeFront provides a holistic array of services for families who are homeless or at high risk of becoming so. The exhibition creates awareness for the organization and the transformative power of art. A variety of mediums including oil painting, acrylic paintings, photography, watercolor, stone carving, digital art and mixed media will be on display.
A reception will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at the gallery, located in the Cranbury Town Hall, 23-A North Main Street. Gallery hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 1 to 3 p.m. Sundays.
