EATONTOWN — Circle BMW has launched a new public awareness and fundraising campaign to benefit the Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).
With every registered test drive taken at Circle BMW through Aug. 19, $25 will be donated to the Monmouth County SPCA.
Circle BMW’s goal is to reach 200 test drives to help make a donation of $5,000 to the Monmouth County SPCA.
The “Drive for a Cause” campaign of Circle BMW is held in conjunction with a national effort by BMW of North America to unify all dealers behind the message of “Take a Test Drive, Make A Difference.”
At the national level, Team U.S.A. will benefit from a donation from BMW of North America, and local BMW centers were given the choice to either join the national effort or select a local organization to support.
“There was never a doubt that we wanted to impact our local community, and after we heard about the recent rescue of almost 300 dogs from a house in Howell [Township], we knew the Monmouth County SPCA needed our assistance,” said Tom DeFelice, Circle BMW president.
In a prepared statement, Monmouth County SPCA’s Director of Development Barbara Lovell-Napoli said the organization relies upon donations to fund the programs and services they provide and is excited about Circle BMW’s “Drive for a Cause” campaign.
“We were delighted to learn of Circle BMW’s test drive fundraiser and welcome their support,” she said. “The recent influx of animals, many of whom are expecting puppies in the coming weeks, have stretched our resources very thin.”
