India Day Committee to hold celebration Aug. 13

Agraj Seva Kendra, the North Brunswick Township India Day Committee and North Brunswick Township High School will present the annual India Independence Day celebration from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Aug. 13 at North Brunswick Township High School, Raider Road, North Brunswick.

Expressing the theme “Revere Friendship,” the highlight of the day will be Chitra Ramaswamy’s creation “Ramayan,” a fusion of Bharatanatyam and Kathak, with choreography by Guru Chtra Ramaswamy and Guru Debjani Roychoudhury.
