I just watched Mr. and Mrs. Khan on Morning Joe. I spent the last few days sending out information just as you are, defending Mr. Trump regarding his comments on this issue. My advice to Mr. Trump is to openly state their son is a hero and just stop making statements anywhere. He cannot win.
The media portrays this family as American heroes who sacrificed their son and a mother who cries passionately for the loss of her child. The media exposure will not go away. I ask Mr. Trump to please express words of compassion and go on.
