Kaye-Lynn Dance Studio No. 3 is proud to be open in East Brunswick. Kaye-Lynn’s is a family-owned business celebrating 61 years in business and three generations of women who love to share their passion of dance. Jackie Lynn is the original owner and a previous Rockette; followed by her daughter Robin Kaye, a dance graduate of Mason Gross school of the Arts at Rutgers; and Jasi-Lynn, now an assistant director and a dance teacher at all three locations. Kaye-Lynn’s is unique in the fact that they are a non-recital dance studio that focuses on helping every child grow and strive to be the best they can be. The teachers provide the highest quality of dance education and training in all forms of dance. Non-recital means that there is no stress of a recital and costly costumes and long shows. They have year-end dance demonstration to showcase their accomplishments. Classes are taught in all forms — ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, tap, tumbling and musical theater/drama. Kaye-Lynn’s is proud of their dance company Encore Ensemble and their top honor awards throughout the year. The company consists of approximately 50 girls ranging from 5-17. They will be auditioning for new dancers to join the team at the new location. The company also performs at local events, senior citizen events and charity events. Kaye-Lynn’s is known for their Buddy Dance classes. In Buddy Dance the students have the best time and dance with a smaller group of dancers along with a buddy! They leave every class feeling a sense of accomplishment and love the new friends they make. At the studio they encourage students of all ages and abilities to reach their greatest potential in life. The studio also has classes for adults of all levels in various dance styles. Kaye-Lynn’s is partnering with Fresh Theatre Arts for an eight-week program starting Sept. 11. This will be held on Sunday at 6 p.m. for children ages 5-8, and 7 p.m. for children ages 9 and up. Fresh Theatre Arts is an educational theater company whose mission is to introduce, educate and encourage youth to participate in performing arts programming while strengthening their creativity, self-esteem and social skills. Free Trial Dance Days will be held Aug. 20 and 24. For more information, visit Kaye Lynne Dance at www.kayelynndance.com.
