MCAR names Realtor of the Year and Realtor-Associate of the Year

The Monmouth County Association of Realtors (MCAR) announces they have chosen Fran Krumholz-Bookman, Century 21 Mack Morris Iris Lurie as 2016 Realtor of the Year and Lisa English, Keller Williams Realty East Monmouth as 2016 Realtor-Associate of the Year. These individuals are being recognized for their effort and work expended in the interest of their community, humanitarian services, in the interest and cause of the Realtor Association, their profession and their clients.

Krumholz-Bookman has been a licensed real estate agent for more than 30 years and received her broker’s license in 1988. She has served on the MCAR Board of Directors for more than 10 years. She has been active within the association throughout her career as a member of the Circle of Excellence, MLS, Grievance, Associates, ByLaws, Education, RPAC and Nominating Committees. She has served on the state level as a member of the Circle of Excellence and Professional Standards Committee of New Jersey REALTORS.

Over the years Krumholz-Bookman has volunteered for a number of local organizations including the Susan G. Koman For the Cure, and the American Heart Association, as well as volunteered at golf outings to support local veterans.

“Fran is a Realtor who exemplifies the highest of professional standards and ethics and is truly deserving of the Realtor of the Year award,” said Gloria V. Siciliano, president of the Monmouth County Association of Realtors. “She is committed to achieving excellence and she is an asset to her community and to the real estate profession.”

English has been a licensed real estate agent since 2010 and received her broker’s license in 2015. During her entire career, she has committed herself as a volunteer leader at MCAR serving on the Public Relations, Education, and Associates Committee. She is currently the co-chairwoman of the Circle of Excellence Committee.

English is involved in local community service projects. She is currently on the Board of Directors of Sheltered Hearts and is a former board member of The Believe Project. She has led fundraising projects for the Boys and Girls Club of Monmouth and has volunteered her time for Lunch Break, Renovation House, Boyd House and the Love thy Neighbor program in Perth Amboy. She also plays in two bands.

“Lisa imparts personal leadership and service qualities, applied not only to the real estate industry, but also to the promotion of civic, community and charitable causes. We are so pleased to be able to bestow this prestigious award to her this year,” Siciliano said. “She takes great pride in being a Realtor and is an enthusiastic and dedicated leader.”

“Both Fran and Lisa truly represent unselfish dedication to their community and everyone they come in contact with,” added Siciliano. “They are a tremendous asset to the Monmouth County Association of Realtors and to the real estate profession and truly deserve this honor.”
