Golf Classic slated for Aug. 29

SHREWSBURY — The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County (MHA) will host its annual Golf Classic and Cocktail Party at the Navesink Country Club Aug. 29 as part of its continued efforts to raise awareness and necessary funds for the free mental health services that MHA offers to members of the military and all families in Monmouth County.

Special guests will include restaurateur Tim McLoone and television personality Melissa Stark.

The day will begin at 10:30 a.m. with registration, lunch and an open practice range. Registration includes 18 holes of championship golf, green fees, golf cart rental, golf balls, lunch, beverages, unlimited use of practice greens, a cocktail party, hors d’oeuvres and stations, 50/50 raffle opportunities, awards and a silent auction.

Cocktail party tickets will be sold separately for those who would like to join MHA solely for the reception.
