The Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders will conclude its free summer concert series of performances in county parks with two concerts at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park, South Amboy/Sayreville beachfront, O’Leary Boulevard, South Amboy. In case of inclement weather, the events will be held in the South Amboy Middle/High School auditorium. Shuttle-bus service will be available, courtesy of Middlesex County Area Transit.
Danny V’s 52nd Street Band will perform a tribute to Billy Joel Aug. 24. “The British Invasion Tribute: More Than Just the Beatles” is set for Aug. 31. Concerts will take place 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Events are free of charge and open to the public. Concertgoers are invited to bring their own lawn chair.
