Kudos to the directors, Linda Viel and Gerard Wells, as well as other staff and volunteers, for the wonderful Summer Theater Workshop program held at Matawan-Aberdeen Middle School in July.
With only a month’s preparation, they were able to transform the school auditorium into a Broadway theater, complete with singers and dancers who performed a wide variety of Broadway musical numbers.
Parents, grandparents and friends were amazed and thrilled to see their fourth-to-eighth graders performing like professionals. We look forward to next year’s production (the 45th annual).
