The Suburban Artist Guild (SAG) will hold its first meeting of the 2016-17 year at 1 p.m. on Sept. 9 at the East Brunswick Library, Jean Walling Civic Center, off of Ryders Lane, East Brunswick.
Activities will include a light luncheon, a “show and tell” of artwork completed over the summer and a mini flea market where members can sell their unwanted art supplies.
Members should bring their $40 yearly dues to the meeting.
SAG welcomes new members to join. The group consists of artists at all levels, from beginners to professionals, who use a variety of media. They meet the second Friday of every month from September until June. At meetings members view demonstrations from recognized artists, participate in workshops, exhibit in group shows and go on trips.
