Deep Cut Gardens and the Deep Cut Bonsai Society will present Bonsai Day from 12-4 p.m. on Sept. 11. Experience this intricate and ancient art through demonstrations and displays, with experts on hand to answer questions. Held annually on the lawn of the Horticultural Center at Deep Cut Gardens, Middletown, Bonsai Day lets visitors get a glimpse as Bonsai Society members work on their trees.
Bonsai Basics — The Keys to Selecting, Maintaining or Just Appreciating a Bonsai, followed by a visit to the Deep Cut Bonsai collection to see examples of the various aspects of bonsai, will be offered from 1:30-3 p.m. for free in the Horticultural Center.
