Library services added for busy Monroe residents

The Monroe Township Library has instituted new programs to streamline services for residents.

A newly installed walk-up book return located at the west side entrance of the Monroe Township Senior Center on Halsey Reed Road is now available for residents to return their library items 24 hours a day.

Residents throughout the township can also benefit from expanded after-school Bookmobile service. Additional stops at locations on the north end of the township including Spotswood-Englishtown Road, Cherry Blossom Drive, South Rhoda Street and Gloria Lane begin 3:30 p.m. Sept. 16.

The Bookmobile will begin new service on England Road at the southern end of the township at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 28.
