YMCA is offering valuable programs

I want to share the good news in Freehold Borough for people over the age of 55. The YMCA Community Center at 41 Center St. is hosting a SCAN outreach program every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The outreach program includes art and exercise classes, refreshments, and a friendly poker game. There is talk of computer/iPad and knit and crochet classes.  The offerings available are only limited by the number of interested people who show up.

Living as I do in my little house and yard, this program has enabled me to meet new neighbors, form new and valued friendships, and learn new skills. I encourage others to join us.
