Fans encouraged to wear black to South Brunswick football opener

The South Brunswick High School Vikings, the Central Jersey, Group V state playoff champion last fall, will open the football season at home on Sept. 9 against a rugged foe in Old Bridge High.

South Brunswick students and fans are encouraged to wear black to the game for a “blackout.”

The motto for the game is “It’s Friday Night Lights – Let’s beat the Knights.”
