SAYREVILLE — The annual classic rock concert to benefit the Best Answer for Cancer Foundation, Shepstock 2016, will take place 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville.
A memorial to Manhattan recording industry veteran Bob “Shep” Sheppard, Shepstock features Shep’s reunited band Peyote, including his 13-year-old musician son. Special guest performers include legendary guitarist John “the Cat” Gatto of the Good Rats and the Rush tribute, Mystic Rhythms. Fine dining will be provided by A Sterling Affair of New York City.
Advance tickets range from $15-$75 and can be purchased at www.shepstock.com. Music videos from past concerts are also available for viewing.
