The First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen is serving free community dinners the second Sunday of each month at 5 p.m. in the church’s Social Center at 270 Woodbridge Ave., Metuchen.
The next dinner will be at 5 p.m. Sept. 11, followed by dinners on Oct. 9, Nov. 13 and Dec. 11.
All are welcome to the community dinner, including those looking for a home-cooked meal, those who need a break from cooking for themselves, those seeking fellowship, those suffering from hardship and those just tired of eating alone. Just come — no reservations are needed.
