The First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen is serving free community dinners the second Sunday of each month at 5 p.m. in the church’s Social Center at 270 Woodbridge Ave., Metuchen.
The next dinner will be on Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. followed by dinners on Oct. 9, Nov. 13 and Dec. 11.
All are welcome to this Community Dinner — those looking for a home-cooked meal, those looking for a break from cooking for themselves, those looking for fellowship, those suffering from hardship, and those just tired of eating alone. No reservations needed.
