Temple to celebrate High Holidays

Temple Shalom at 5 Ayrmont Lane in Aberdeen is preparing for the High Holidays and the upcoming year and cordially invites the community to welcome in the Jewish New Year.

Rosh Hashanah will be celebrated Oct. 2-4 and Yom Kippur Oct. 11 and 12. Donations for High Holiday tickets that include all services are $118 for one person and $300 for a family of four or more. The purchase of High Holiday tickets includes a complimentary year of membership for new members.

Temple Shalom also offers free High Holiday tickets and a year of free membership for recent college graduates, ages 21-30. Active members of the U.S. military may also request complimentary tickets. Tickets are not transferable, and identification will be required for entry to services.

Temple Shalom provides an accessible environment. Hearing-enhancing devices and large-print prayers books are available upon request. Temple Shalom is a member of the Union of Reform Judaism serving communities in Monmouth and Middlesex counties.
