Detours expected during South Brunswick paving projects

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – The following construction work is scheduled for next week in South Brunswick, weather permitting.

Milling and paving on Stouts Lane and some areas of Route 522 have been scheduled for Sept. 12-13. On both days, Stouts Lane will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to information provided by the South Brunswick Police Department.

Milling and paving on Ridge Road, between Perrine Road and Schalks Crossing Road, have been scheduled for 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 12-13. Detours will be utilized during this time. School buses and residents will have access, police said.

Milling and paving on Ridge Road, between Heathcote Road and Academy Street, and on Prospect Street, have been scheduled for Sept. 13 and then Sept. 15-16 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Detours will be utilized during this time. School buses and residents will have access, police again said.
