Mayor Lankey, the Edison Town Council and the Edison Recreation Department will hold Edison’s Annual Fall Family Spectacular Street Fair and Festival from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. on Sept. 24, along Amboy Avenue from Jackson Avenue to Waltuma Avenue (by the Clara Barton section), Edison. Admission is free.
This event will feature two stages of music that will include live music for all ages, kiddie rides, pony rides, professional wrestling, face painting, and more. Civic and local merchants will display their merchandise, and new retail exhibitors will sell a selection of merchandise such as handbags, jewelry, sports collectibles, clothing, assorted crafts and one of a kind items.
Come hungry and stop to have a sausage and peppers sandwich, mozzerapas, cheese steak sandwiches, chicken fingers, ice cream, zeppoles, shish kabobs, pizza, french fries, hamburgers, gyros, fresh squeezed lemonade and Italian ice to name a few. Visit the Beer Garden that the Italian American Club is the host.
