Playhouse 22, East Brunswick’s community theater, will open its new season with “Cabaret,” the award-winning musical by John Kander and Fred Ebb, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 3 p.m. Sundays, Sept. 16-Oct. 2, at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road. An 8 p.m. evening performance will take the place of the afternoon performance on Sept. 25.
The show is directed by Jim Jarrell, with musical direction by Candice Kraus and choreography by Phil Solomon.
Tickets cost $22 for adults, $20 for seniors and students, and are available by logging on to Playhouse22.org, by calling the box office at 732-254-3939, or at the box-office window.
