Join The Friends of the Metuchen Library at the 2016 Annual Book Sale on Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Annual Book Sale will take place on the front lawn of the Metuchen Library,480 Middlesex Ave. in Metuchen.
The rain dates are Oct. 8 and Oct. 15. The Book Sale is the same day as the Metuchen Country Fair. It is a fundraiser for the library. All proceeds support the well-attended programs for adults, teens and children.
Hardcover books are priced at $2 and softcover books are at $1. Children’s books are $1 for hardcover and $.50 for softcover. There is a limit of 20 children’s books for each family.
The table will offer special books that will be individually priced. In addition, the Friends fabric tote bags, with the Friends logo, will be on sale for $2 each.
The Friends thank Lewis Levy of A Quick Sign for providing the outdoor sign announcing the Book Sale. The Friends thank the community of their generous donations of excellent books throughout the years.
