The Stop Compressor Station 206 Movement is encouraging residents to attend The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) Franklin Township Public Scoping Session 5-9 p.m. on Sept. 15 at the Franklin Township Community Senior Center, 505 Demott Lane, Somerset, to provide public input about the potential environmental and health concerns regarding natural gas compressor stations.
Williams Transco Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Company is planning a a 32,000-horsepower compressor station on a rock quarry between South Brunswick and Franklin.
