Hayducka released a statement following this weekend’s possible terrorist incidents in Seaside Park and New York City.

“I have heard from several community members with questions. We have been in regular contact with our county, state and federal law enforcement partners to monitor the situation and impacts for our community,” he said.

He said residents should not hesitate to report unusual or suspicious activity. Call the FBI — Newark at 1-800-CALLFBI, option 1. For the New Jersey Homeland Security Preparedness Tip Line, call 866-4-SAFE-NJ (866-472-3365). To reach the South Brunswick Police Department, dial 732-329-4646 or 911 in an emergency.
