Bird-rescue event next up at park

A bird-rescue program will begin at 1 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Cheesequake State Park Nature Center, Old Bridge.

Guest presenter will be a representative from Lonely Grey Rescue. Live birds will be part of the program.

The event is open to all ages. Admission is free of charge.
