The Borough of Hightstown is now accepting registrations for its 16th Annual Fall Borough-wide yard sale, scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.
There is no charge to participate in the event, and those wishing to do so may register their address by using the online registration form on the borough’s website at www.hightstownborough.com. If you do not have internet access, call the Borough Clerk’s office at 490-5100. A list of registered addresses will be available on the website and updated daily.
This year borough area businesses are invited to participate and register.
Official headquarters for the event will be at the Hightstown-Apollo Lodge No. 41, 535 North Main Street; public restrooms, information lists, maps, food and beverages will be available there throughout the day.
In addition, space will be available there for individuals and/or community groups needing a central location from which to sell. Once again this year, contact the Lodge at dave@hightstown-apollo41.org or call (609) 448-7539 for details or to rent a space.
The town-wide yard sale has proven to be a popular event in past years, with more than 100 homes participating. This year is expected to be the biggest event yet.
