Jean C. Riehle (nee Pye), 80, of Manalapan, passed away peacefully on Sept. 18, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Jean was born on Dec. 30, 1935 in Newark to Hoyt and Bernadette Pye.
She is survived by five children, Frederick (Michelle) Riehle, Jeanmarie (Miguel) Laracuente, Joe Riehle, Bernadette Riehle and Christian (Paula) Riehle; and her many grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick, and her son, Tommy.
She will be missed by all and will be especially remembered for her love of reading, the New York Yankees and playing card games.
Burial took place at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
