Monmouth Civic Chorus will perform “Joy to the World” at 4 p.m. on Dec. 18 at Count Basie Theatre, 99 Monmouth St., Red Bank.
Following last year’s rousing premiere of a Christmas Suite by MCC’s Artistic Director Dr. Ryan James Brandau, the chorus will perform an expanded edition of the Suite featuring newly added carols. Holiday favorites will include “O Holy Night”, “Auld Lang Syne”, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “Deck the Halls”. Intertwined throughout the Suite will be classical stalwarts from Handel’s Messiah and Bach’s Christmas Oratorio.
Tickets for premium seating are $45 for adults, $40 for seniors, $35 for groups (10 or more) and $10 for students. Tickets for regular seating are $30 for adults, $27 for seniors, $25 for groups (10 or more) and $5 for students.
