Walk will aid fight against domestic violence

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

South Brunswick will hold a walk to stop domestic violence at 7 p.m. on Oct. 22 at Wetherill Historic Site, 269 Georges Rd., Dayton. Wear a purple shirt and bring a flashlight.

Attendees are asked to bring a shoebox filled with personal hygiene products such as soap, washcloth, toothbrush, toothpaste, undergarments, deodorant and socks, as well as an inspirational card. Donations will be given to Women Aware in New Brunswick. No cash will be accepted.
