The Haunted Theater returns to the Brookdale Community College Performing Arts Center (PAC), 765 Newman Spring Rd., Lincroft, from 7-10:30 p.m., Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Oct. 14-30. The attraction, now in its 14th year, is designed and operated by more than 100 local actors, technicians and Brookdale theater students.
Community members are invited to navigate a haunted maze stretching throughout the PAC complex and brave an army of zombies, evil clowns, mad scientists and other creatures. The Haunted Theater also features an interactive 3-D blacklight maze and other obstacles designed to scare even the bravest of Halloween adventurers.
General admission is $12. Seniors, Brookdale alumni and staff can attend for $10. Attendees ages 17 and under can attend for $8 and current Brookdale students can attend for $5. Large groups are welcome.
The PAC will also offer a family friendly, “no-scare” experience titled “The
Mystery of the Missing Candy” from 2-4 p.m. on Oct. 22, 23, 29 and 30. Young children are welcome. Admission is $5 for everyone.
