Grateful for police, EMS care and concern

I wish to take this opportunity to say a very heartfelt thanks to the Spotswood Police Department (SPD) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

On Friday, Sept. 23, as I was receiving physical therapy for a recent knee procedure, my hip dislocated. The therapist immediately called 911 and my husband, and within minutes the EMS squad and the police were there. Due to the problem, I was unable to sit. The therapist also was there throughout the ordeal. They brought in the stretcher, and I was transported to the emergency room.

I want to personally commend Sgt. Nicholas Mayo and all the officers of the SPD, and the EMS squad members, Doug and Kelly, for their excellent treatment and comfort and professionalism.

Again, thanks to the SPD and EMS. It’s comforting to know that we have a great group of men and women caring about and watching out for us.
