A Halloween Special-Needs Charity Ball, honoring Area 4 Ambassador Zachary Nemeth, a Helmetta youngster who was born with multiple disabilities, is scheduled for 7 p.m.-midnight Oct. 29 at East Brunswick Elks Lodge No. 2370, 21-B Oakmont Ave.
The event will feature a buffet, desserts, coffee and tea. Guests are invited to bring “ghoulish” snacks for their table and to come dressed in a Halloween costume.
Cost is $20 per person in advance, $25 at the door. RSVP is required.
