Board of Education election overview for the Independent

The following local school board elections will take place on Nov. 8:

Aberdeen representatives to the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional Board of Education – Joelle Nappi and John Delaney are running uncontested for two full terms.

Hazlet – Paulette De’Liberto, Edward Barrett, Lauri O’Leary, Aaron Erven Jr., Kathryn Bolen, Guiseppe “Joe” Pruscino and Carol Gaffney are running for three full terms.

Holmdel – Lori Ammirati, Dennis Pavlik, Chiung-yin Cheng Liu and Michael Sockol are running for three full terms.

Keyport – Courtney White, Elena Malinconico and Cecil Bright are running unopposed for three full terms.

Matawan representative to the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional Board of Education – Anissa Esposito is vying against Toni Servance for one full term, while Kevin Ahearn is running unopposed for one, one-year unexpired term.

Middletown – Donald Hager, Michael Donlon, Frank Higgins, Leonora Caminiti, Vincent Brand III and John Little Jr. are running for three full terms.
