Local police departments will once again partner with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA’s) National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day program.
Residents can drop off all expired or unused prescription or over the counter medications at police headquarters on Oct. 22.
Medication should be taken out of the original container and placed into paper/plastic bags. Liquid such as cough medicines should be kept in the original containers. No syringes or sharp objects will be accepted.
