Prescription Drug Take-Back Day scheduled for Oct. 22

The South Brunswick Police Department will once again partner with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA’s) National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day program.

Residents can drop off all expired or unused prescription or over the counter medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 22 at South Brunswick Police Headquarters, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction.

Medication should be taken out of the original container and placed into paper/plastic bags. Liquid such as cough medicines should be kept in the original containers. No syringes or sharp objects will be accepted.
