New Beginnings Animal Rescue (NBAR), 706-R Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, will offer a Purrfect Companions program for seniors who would like to adopt an adult cat or dog but who are concerned about the costs and other issues involved.
Adoption fees will be waived as part of the program. All pets will be spayed/neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, dewormed, tested and checked by a veterinarian prior to adoption. New Beginnings also will offer one complimentary veterinarian visit per calendar year and pay the senior’s residential pet fee, if applicable.
